Macy’s is one of the biggest departmental stores located in United States. It has worlwide recognition and the employees working there get certain benefits too. The employees there have a web portal which helps them provide all the information about the paychecks and the shifts and whatnot. This web portal is known as Macy’s insite.
It is a convenient little portal to help Macy’s employees balance their work and personal life. It also gives all the necessary information about these employees and their shifts to HR which helps them to manage more efficiently.
The Macy’s insite portal was made for the exclusive use of Macy’s Bloomingdale employees. The site provides various information about benefit programs, paychecks, company news, etc.
As for the HR department, they use this site for accessing the data related to the employees, like employees’ login, past employees’ data, their relevant personal data or resume, and such.
The site is rather simple to access and use.
- Click on any browser of your choice and type in www.employeeconnection.net in the url bar. This will take you to the official employee connection site.
- Click on the “MY IN-SITE” button where you can enter your valid employee ID or email or Network ID.
- Then enter your Password and click on the “Log in” button.
- This will take you to the Macy’s Insite.
- You can click on the “My Insite” button located at the top right corner of the page.
- Íf you click on “My Insite”, you will be redirected to the actual portal where you can check all the information relating to your paycheck, timetable, benefits and others.
In the case that you forget your password, you can follow these steps:
- Enter the 8-digit Employee ID that belongs to you
- Enter your PIN.
- The PIN will be mostly a 4 digit number. This will be handed to the employee during their onboarding.
- If he or she is an employee, you will see the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number. If this number is not available in the HR system, while entering the data, then you have to contact the hiring person for the company.
- In the case of contractors, the Social Security number is not used, a different number is assigned to them by the person who completed their onbaording. So, in order to find out their PIN, contact the manager or the onboarding personnel to retrieve it.
- This PIN should be noted while onboarding itself as the employee will need it always. Do not share it with anybody as it is confidential information.
- Remember, the Help Desk cannot provide the PIN, so you should contact your manager if any such emergency cases happen.
